Shipping and Delivery
Once a package leaves our warehouse and is collected by the courier, Bookcases Armchairs will no longer be responsible for shipping delays or delivery issues.
Please note that due to recent safety measures and unprecedented times, couriers no longer require signatures upon delivery.
If a package is marked as delivered by the courier based on the tracking information, but cannot be collected at the delivery address, Bookcases Armchairs will not be responsible for this loss. Unfortunately, we cannot provide exchanges or refunds once the courier confirms that the package has been delivered to the correct address. We recommend that you contact the courier to resolve this issue.
We are committed to ensuring that our customers' orders are completed in full and on time. However, please note that due to factors such as order volume, postal errors and technical failures, we cannot guarantee the delivery date of orders. We ship Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and some holidays. Order processing takes 3-5 business days. Once the order has been processed and shipped, we will send you an email with the tracking number. At this time, we only provide regular delivery services. Shipping time and courier service may vary depending on the location where the item is shipped.
Please note that all packages are shipped with a signature. Please provide an address where the recipient can sign for the shipment. If the package is not available to sign for it upon delivery, it will be returned to our warehouse.
The following information is the time frame you can expect to receive your shipment once your order has been dispatched:

Canada UPS, FedEx or Canada Post 3-7 business days
US UPS or FedEx 5-10 business days
UK Royal Mail or DPD 3-5 business days
Europe DPD, PostNL or UPS 5-10 business days
International UPS or FedEx 10-15 business days
Australia Startrack or UPS 3-7 business days
Canada and USA Orders:
Orders shipped to Canada and the USA will be shipped from our Canadian warehouse via UPS, FedEx or Canada Post. Bookcases Armchairs is not responsible for any duties and taxes that may be incurred.
UPS
After the third unsuccessful delivery of the package, UPS will return it to the warehouse. After the third failed delivery, they may store the package at a warehouse near you. Please check the UPS website frequently for the latest status. We will leave a notification card where you can pick up your package. If you do not receive a notification card, please contact UPS to confirm the pickup location. For more information, please visit the UPS website.
If your package is returned, please contact us at care@mattandnat.com for further assistance.
UPS does not ship to PO boxes; therefore, it is best to provide a residential/work address.
MATT and NAT Shipping Protection:
Package protection covers all major issues that may occur during the shipping of your order. Your order will be protected against loss, damage, theft, wrong shipment, defective items, and missing items. If these situations occur, you can choose to refund or re-ship. Please email Support@bookcasesarmchairs.com and we will help you.
To protect your order, please make sure to enable "Order Protection" in the shopping cart. Once the package reaches the carrier, it is unfortunately out of our control. As stated at checkout, if you opt out of the "Order Protection" shipping protection, you will need to resolve any issues directly with the carrier and Bookcases Armchairs is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages.
European Orders:
European orders are shipped from our EU warehouse via DPD, PostNL or UPS.
International Orders:
For international orders, we use UPS or FedEx as a courier service. International shipping to some countries can sometimes take up to 2-3 weeks. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance processes or courier shipping times in the destination country.
Australian Orders:
Orders shipped to Australia are shipped from our Australian warehouse via STARTRACK or UPS.
Duties and International Fees:
When a package arrives at the destination country, applicable customs duties or import tariffs will usually be charged. In addition, the recipient will be charged shipping fees (both retail and wholesale customers). These charges will be paid to your local carrier or government. Bookcases Armchairs is not responsible for charging these charges and they are not refundable. Bookcases Armchairs has no control over these charges and cannot estimate or confirm specific charges as customs policies and import duties vary from country to country. We recommend that you contact your local customs office for information on these charges before placing an order to avoid unexpected charges.
Europe/International/Australia: We ship packages on a Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis and therefore may be subject to import duties and taxes. We are not aware of these charges and if you contact us through our carriers, these charges are the responsibility of the customer before receiving the order. Please contact your local customs office for more details on these charges.
Incorrect Address Disclaimer:
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery address entered is correct. If the delivery address provided is incorrect, please contact us immediately at Support@bookcasesarmchairs.com! We will do our best to expedite processing and shipping; therefore, it may take some time to modify the address of an order and we cannot guarantee that it will be successful. If a package is shipped to the wrong address, the courier may not accept the address change. If the package is returned and the buyer requests it to be re-shipped, additional shipping charges may apply.
Order Cancellation/Modification:
If you decide to cancel or modify your order, please contact us at Support@bookcasesarmchairs.com immediately after placing your order. We will do our best to change your order, but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible due to time constraints. If your order is cancelled/modified late, you can return it to us after receipt.
Please note that if you create a Bookcases Armchairs account after placing your order, the order will not appear in your dashboard. We cannot link orders to new accounts. Therefore, only orders placed using a Bookcases Armchairs account will appear in your account. If you place an order as a guest, you will still receive a shipping notification with a tracking number.
